Primary Role Responsibilities
This is a key sales/operations support role with the primary responsibilities of supporting the VP of Sales and Marketing along with a national sales team.
Functional Role /Responsibilities
Responsible for the initial identification, contact, qualification and support of Genea’s sales and marketing efforts. The associate must be able to help identify and qualify key targets; market segments, and potential customers through highly organized and effective business planning, market research and use of general sales support skills and process planning efforts.
Typical duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting opportunities to introduce our products/solutions through a variety of avenues including networking, cold calling, telemarketing, e-mail and direct-mail campaigns, and tradeshow attendance
- Setting appointments, meetings for VP of Sales and Marketing along with all Sales Team members: tracking and reporting progress
- Coordinating travel requirements VP of Sales and Marketing along with all Sales Team members
- Tracking and reporting on all Sales activities and related expenses
- Assist and support the development and maintenance of key customer relationships
- Ability to create formal proposals and submit to prospects
- Ability to create presentation materials from a standard template
- Ability to create operational sales reports and track progress against established goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Has recently held an inside sales operations position
- Must be PC Literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Project management and task oriented
- Prior Salesforce.com Administrator and/or extensive prior experience
- Organized thinker and planner with strong financial, operational, and technical acumen combined with a sense of urgency
- Team player with high energy focused on measurable results
- Must be comfortable in a high-growth, rapid paced start-up environment
This role requires the candidate is comfortable interacting within a team-based deal-making environment while working through ambiguous and/or at times uncertain situations.
Preferences:
Prior relationships and intimate knowledge of the REIT industry
BA degree marketing/business/finance/communications
