Installation Process

Installing Genea's Building Optimization Platform could pass as genius too-it requires just four steps from set-up to training. The process begins with building set-up, during which Genea works directly with the building's engineering staff and IT department to establish all building connections and integrate controls with the new servers.
Secondly, Genea works with the owner and/or property managers to set up the initial tenant database. The database includes system options, tenant billing information and zoning of mechanical and lighting equipment.
Setting up the accounting protocols occurs next. Again, Genea works with the building's accounting department and systems administrator to set up the database for invoice approvals and enable automatic importing of billing information directly into the building's accounting system.
The fourth and final step of installation involves training for tenants. Together with property managers, Genea conducts individual training sessions for tenants and management staff on the use of Genea's web-based invoice approval process.
