Genea's Building Optimization Platform delivers a broad range of services:


  • After-Hours Air Conditioning and Lighting Control: Provides tenants with remote access to use after-hours air conditioning and lighting outside of normal lease hours for a fee. Automated usage tracking creates a new revenue stream by capturing tenant usage amounts that previously went unbilled or were unallocated, giving owners and managers the option to bill
    for these services on a tenant-by-tenant basis.

  • On Demand Services for Saturdays and minor holidays: Provides remote, on-demand tenant use of HVAC and lighting on Saturdays and minor holidays. Building equipment is activated on-demand and only when necessary while still meeting lease obligations resulting in greater energy efficiency and reduced utility costs to the building owner.
  • Temperature Control Set-Points for HVAC (Peak Consumption Control):
    Provides constant monitoring of a building's electric load for the highest 15-minute period and then reduces the consumption to minimize the ratcheting effect of peak charges charged by utility companies.
  • Left-On Protection: Systematic scanning of the building each day after normal lease hours to ensure that no HVAC equipment is accidentally running that should not be.

  • Complete invoicing and traceability of all energy-related, above standard services including a patent-pending, web-based property management approval process with full accounting integration

  • Portfolio-wide building analytics: A complete suite of robust analytics reporting that enables owners and managers to measure and track operations at the portfolio, building and tenant levels.
